The EPC 10 USB Double, Triple, and Quadro patch-clamp amplifiers are the optimal instruments for performing double or triple patch experiments. Although either two (EPC 10 USB Double), three (EPC 10 USB Triple) or four (EPC 10 USB Quadro) amplifiers are combined in a single housing; each amplifier is completely independent with clearly defined operation and handling. HEKA's software stimulates the desired amplifier and selected channels are programmed without tedious connection of cables by the user.

All instruments at close quarters and ergonomically designed to relieve strain Elegant glass delivery table, with display and touch keys underneath which are only lit up when being used, relieving eye strain, this is the most hygienic.
For any researcher who desires manual user control through knobs and dials, while at the same time, longs for some degree of computer communication and automatic control, HEKA provide the EPC 800 USB. This amplifier is truly a unique hybrid patch-clamp amplifier with its design and feature-set primarily based upon the manually controlled EPC 8. The EPC 800 USB can be controlled with any data acquisition interface and can be supported, not only by HEKA software, but also with third-party data acquisition programs

Two-electrode voltage-clamp (TEV) of Xenopus laevis oocytes is easily applied for the rapid screening of ion channel function, in particular in pharmacological experiments. However, conventional TEV hardware is not straightforwardly operated by technical personnel because adjustment of the electronics requires considerable practical experience. Moreover, the faithful interpretation of experimental data is often compromised by an incomplete control of all physical parameters determining the voltage clamp performance. HEKA therefore designed and implemented a hardware/software combination with HEKA's new LIH 8+8 AD/DA interface built-in. This arrangement minimizes total recording noise, eliminates compatibility problems and reduces additional equipment expenses and set-up times. The built-in interface utilizes the latest USB 2.0 and high speed processing technologies without the need for a peripheral PCI card.
